Waterworld

Here's the finished piece. :) Another one on underwater atmospheres... I guess I have something about them, without giving much thought about it...
This painting is watercolors, plus watercolor pencils and some white acrylic paint. Size 32×24

Watercolor - WIP

Currently working on this one. :)
I'm loving the results so far (it's more advanced now than this picture shows) and I'll be posting the finished piece this week.
See you later! ;)

"Just Follow Your Dreams"

I'm sharing with you my first dance painting on a wall! :)
This was commissioned for two teen sisters' room. They both dance and one of them inspires me in a special way. She's a gorgeous and talented 13 y.o. girl who dances beautifully, from the soul. And she has this rare type of hepatitis that debilitates her system. You won't say by looking at those vibrant shinning eyes and by the way she dances passionately. Dance is actually what is helping her a lot with her condition and I have a feeling that someday we will hear about her in the "dance world". :)

I was an honor for me to paint this for her - it was her idea, I just made it visible. ;)

Welcoming Fall

Season greetings!! You've gotta love autumn! :)
These really cute leaves came to life with colored pencils on paper.

Watercolors

Here are some watercolor paintings I did recently. There's something so special and enjoyable about brushes, ink and paper that no digital painting can do. These are two very different ways of painting and I love them both. :)
Hope you enjoy my paintings!
The dance couple one is a commissioned gift (for a dancer, of course!) and the "water flow" one is a gift I made for my friend, I wanted to inspire her to let her emotions flow like water. The fairy one is a personal work simply because I love fairies, they represent joy to me. ;)

Acrílico - Chávenas e copo

Esta foi a minha primeira pintura em acrílico, numa lição de iniciação à pintura. Deu-me bastante gozo pintar e gostei do resultado. Ficou suficientemente próximo do cenário real. ^_^

Aguarela - montanhas

Fiz esta aguarela há uns tempos... foi a partir de uma fotografia do livro "The Earth from the Air 366 Days" (Villarrica Volcano, Chile).
A pintura está bem longe do aspecto da foto original, mas mesmo assim gostei do resultado. :)
