A Miracle of Nature

A tribute to the wolves of Yellowstone, for saving the whole ecosystem of that place. :):)
A miracle of Mother Nature's workings. *heart*
This video made me want to do it: How Wolves Change Rivers
(This drawing is made with pencil on paper, A3 size.)
Note: some photo references were used for the wolves

Flowolf

When I named this picture spontaneously (as I usually do with naming) I didn't realize right then that Wolf is Flow written backwards. :) Now I love the name even more! *heart*

I have watched the movie Ashes and Snow on Saturday. I consider it one of the most inspiring things I've seen in my life! It reminded me so much of my dance drawings... It suddely hit me, while watching the movie, that my dancers are mostly underwater dancers and I didn't even know it, :)
One thing is for sure: after watching this precious master piece of a film, my art will never be the same anymore.

Horses!

Back on track, folks! :)
Sorry for being so absent these past months, artistic wise. Some changes happened in my life, I needed to adjust and figure out a lot of things. I'm happy that I'm back and I will be posting more stuff. :)
Today I'm sharing another quick painting (2 hours, +/-). I didn't draw horses for years so it felt good drawing them again! I used to draw horses a lot when I was a little girl; they were my favorite animal until the wolf replaced them. ;)  Sincde then I almost forgot how much I love horses... will sure be drawing them more!

I notice my paintings get a lot more saturated than the originals when I submit them to blogger. Can't figure out why? Oh well...

Four legged cutie

I once saw a photograph of a wolf cub with an expression very much like this. So this is my attempt to reproduce it from memory. I have no idea how the original picture looks like anymore, but I'm sure I captured the cub's expression just for wanting to laugh at it. :D
